What you'll do...

Position: Staff Product Manager

Location 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030

Duties: Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Develops technical product specifications for the architecture of underlying platform components (for example: identity, content management and payment processing) by using artifacts such as systems flows, product requirement documents and logical data models. Manages the evolution of a component of an ecommerce platform by collaborating with architects, services product managers and VP of Platform architecture to develop, maintain and evangelize the technical product roadmap associated to his/her area. Manages vendor relationships and identifies emerging technology platforms; evaluating and selecting vendors; negotiating agreements and contracts; managing partners integration; and securing necessary engagement and resource alignment for the creation of co-developed product features. Develops and champions a product strategy, and roadmap for a specific platform product area in support of architectural vision and principles established by the office of the CTO by leveraging consumer insights, competitive analysis, and insights of emerging technologies to identify new product opportunities and enhancements; and working with multiple functions to build and evaluate business cases to support product investment decisions. This position does not supervise employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related area and 5 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related area and 7 years of experience in product management.

Skills required: Experience investigating b2b billing systems, billing processes, and invoicing data to perform billing data reconciliations and month end closes as per accounting GAAP principles. Experience evaluating invoicing posting systems, migrating existing invoice posting processes, and evaluating data to Central ERP systems, including SAP and NetSuite. Experience investigating technical infrastructure, including pricing engine, billing data validations, and billing data warehouse (SQL DB) to prepare and implement a product that upgrades the technology stack from SQL database to microservices architecture using container services and Kafka queues. Experience creating, updating, and managing AdTech platforms and services including CRM, OMS, task management, billing, and ad server integrations. Experience with advertising systems, including Google Ad Manager and The Trade Desk, demand side platforms, including Google Ad Sense, and supply side platforms, including Google Ad Sense, to build campaign delivery processes. Experience ingesting and automating data pipelines from order management systems, including AdBook and placements.io to ad servers, including The Trade Desk and Pinterest, using REST API architecture. Experience managing CRM Systems, including Salesforce, to establish an onboarding process for sales opportunities and convert them into closed contracts by automating the sales cycle. Experience with task management systems, including Appian, Workfront, Asana, and Trello. Experience mapping and documenting end to end business processes in collaboration with business, engineering, and UX teams using Figma. Experience performing build vs. buy analysis for third party systems, including Appian, AdBook, Salesforce, and SAP, to identify the right fit for MAP needs and prepare a product strategy that can be presented to C suite executives for buy in. Experience creating multiyear product strategies and building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to Objectives and   Key   Results (OKRs), communicating and prioritizing   product   roadmaps, and   gaining buy-in from executive leadership. Experience creating presentations and user trainings for new features in advertising tech systems. Experience with Product Management and managing multiple engineering teams, their backlogs, and their SDLC. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $150,301/year to $264,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
