What You’ll Do
Typeface is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Staff Product Designer to join our design team. As a Staff Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating and executing design solutions that meet the needs of the business. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure that our products are user-friendly, visually appealing, and meet the needs of our customers.

As a Staff Product Designer, you will have the opportunity to work towards that mission and your impact on Typeface and our customers will be foundational. You will also work in a collaborative and supportive environment where your ideas are valued, and your skills are appreciated.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Own and lead end-to-end the design of multiple product areas and features
  • Create world-class design solutions and work with cross-functional teams to ship them to our customers quickly
  • Ensure that our products are user-friendly and visually appealing
  • Open to mentoring/leading more juniors designers
  • Work independently with limited guidance
  • Pro-active with communication and take initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience and Bachelor's degree
  • Strong portfolio showcasing strong design skills and care for details
  • Experience in the generative AI space working with AI tools
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a high capacity for change and context-switching
  • Experience with design tools, such as Figma
  • Bonus: Experience with designing B2B/SaaS products
  • Bonus: Experience with designing AI products
  • Bonus: Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development

Location
This is a hybrid role based in our Palo Alto HQ. We collaborate in-office 3 days a week.

Base Salary
The range for this role is $175K - $200K. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process.
