At AlixPartners, we solve the most complex and critical challenges by moving quickly from analysis to action when it really matters; creating value that has a lasting impact on companies, their people, and the communities they serve. We hold ourselves accountable by providing space for authenticity, growth, and equity for everyone. AlixPartners has embraced a hybrid work model to provide flexibility and support work-life integration. Travel is part of this position, but frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
AlixPartners is building an AI-native development platform that standardizes how code is generated, verified, secured, deployed, and monitored, so AI-assisted product development is safe and repeatable across its portfolio. The Staff Platform Engineer sits at the intersection of infrastructure, delivery engineering, security, and developer experience. You will be one of the engineers who build and operate the substrate every product in AlixPartners' Platforms portfolio inherits — infrastructure as code, delivery pipelines and their gates, the runtime, identity and network, security and compliance controls, telemetry and cost, and the packaged development environment that carries our AI-assisted engineering harness. This is a hands-on engineering position where leadership happens through the work. You will move fluidly between building production infrastructure, implementing multi-tenant isolation, hardening pipeline and policy enforcement, and instrumenting production. Your success is measured by what other engineers can consume without hand-holding: modules, pipelines, and patterns that hold up for the second and third consumer.
The firm offers a comprehensive benefits program including health, vision, dental, disability, 401K, tuition reimbursement, identity theft protection, and mental wellness support. Employees will also receive a generous paid leave policy including vacation/personal time starting at 7.34 hours per pay period, sick time up to 80 hours annually, parental leave and twelve holidays.
The salary range for this role takes into account a number of factors and is between $175,000/year - $275,000 range/year with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
