Salary Range: $60.70-82.07 plus per diem differential
The Staff Physical Therapist will provide professional Physical Therapy Services specific to patient's age and diagnosis including evaluation, planning individual patient care programs, treatments, documentation, educating patient and family, conferring with other professional and performing other related duties as required. Will work in a variety of acute care hospital units, including Polytrauma, Neuro, Ortho, Medical/Surgical, Telemetry and population will include inpatient and outpatients. Work schedule will include day shift, PM shift and some weekend scheduling. Therapists are members of ESC Local 20 union.
In addition to performing the essential functions listed below, may also be assigned other duties as required.
Educational Requirements
Clinical Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program of Physical Therapy approved by the council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
Ccurrent California license issued by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs Physical Therapy Board.
Current Basic Life Support Provider Certificate from the American Heart Association.
Experience Requirements
Experience in Level 1 or 2 Trauma Hospital preferred.
3+ years of experience in an acute care setting.
Experience in Level 1 or 2 Trauma Hospital preferred.
