Staff Nurse – Medical Assessment Unit

Permanent 30 hours hours per week (3 X 10 hours)

Applications from suitably qualified persons are invited to apply for the position of Staff Nurse in our Medical Assessment Unit open Monday to Saturday.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements at a minimum:

• Registered with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Experience in MAU or similar department desirable
• 3 years post registration experience in acute care essential
• Experience in ACLS is preferred, and candidates must be willing to complete certification if not already obtained
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The skills and attitude necessary to deliver exceptional and quality patient care to the highest standards
• IT Skills
• Flexibility and adaptability are essential requirements for this role.
• Experience in cannulation and venepuncture is desirable, or candidates must demonstrate a willingness to acquire these skills.
