
Salary Range
$87.66 - $116.86 plus applicable per diem differential
of Duties The Staff Nurse II is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides fiscally responsible care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation and other health care team members. Ability to care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures and to provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Education Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.BSN preferred or ADN with three years of specialty experience.
Licensure/Certification Requirements Current California RN license required. AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
Experience Requirements Two (2) years acute hospital experience and six months Endoscopy experience required. Recent experience in an acute care Endoscopy setting preferred.
Special skills or abilities Competent in moderate sedation protocols, able to provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Knowledge of EPIC. Ability to work cooperatively with physicians and co-workers. Ability to deal with stressful, emergent situations. Ability to work productively in a busy and complex environment. Effective written and oral communication skills in English.
