This position is at the L09 level with an hourly pay range of $49.73 - $66.42
As a multidisciplinary team member and reporting to the Manager, Ambulatory Care Program, the Chemotherapy staff nurse provides nursing care for patients through the administration and implementation of medical investigation, case management and therapeutic programs through application of knowledge of general and chemotherapy nursing, physical health and psycho-social well-being. This position also provides organization, direction, supervision and collaboration in planning and implementation of nursing and chemotherapy best practices.
The successful candidate is required to have a Diploma/Baccalaureate degree in Nursing; be currently registered with Yukon Registered Nurses Association (YRNA); one (1) year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience; current CPR certification; and a chemotherapy designation/certification through the BC Cancer Association or other like associations or educational institutions. One (1) year recent Chemotherapy experience is preferred.
