Staff Nurse - Endoscopy

London: The London Bridge Hospital

Full time: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Monday to Friday

The service operates between 7:00am and 8:00pm, and candidates must be flexible to work shifts across these hours.

Shift patterns:

  • Week 1: 3 x 7:30am to 7:00pm
  • Week 2: 3 x 7:30am to 7:00pm plus 1 x 7:30am to 5:00pm

Or, when working within the ward admissions/recovery area:

  • 3 x 7:00am to 8:00pm shifts per week

At London Bridge Hospital, you'll join one of HCA UK's three JAG-accredited Endoscopy Units, delivering a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across gastroenterology and respiratory services. Supported by advanced endoscopic technology and a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll work alongside leading consultants, specialist nurses and allied healthcare professionals to provide safe, seamless and patient-centred care throughout the patient journey.

As a Staff Nurse within Endoscopy, you'll be involved in every stage of the patient journey, from assessment and preparation through to procedure support and recovery. You'll deliver high-quality care, take responsibility for managing endoscopy lists, and support patients throughout their treatment experience.

What you’ll bring:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • Endoscopy trained with previous experience working within an Endoscopy unit.
  • ODP experience desirable.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centred care.
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills.
