Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and overseas candidates across hospitals, nursing homes, home care, and community care services.

We are currently hiring a
Staff Nurse
to a Care Home in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to all residents.

Develop and maintain individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team.

Monitor residents’ health, wellbeing, and clinical conditions, escalating concerns appropriately.

Administer medications safely in line with best practice, policies, and regulatory guidelines.

Maintain accurate, timely, and up-to-date clinical documentation and records.

Build positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvement and quality care initiatives.

Promote a safe environment by following health & safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.

Report incidents, accidents, hazards, and safeguarding concerns promptly and appropriately.

Adhere to professional standards, maintain confidentiality, and support the smooth daily operation of the nursing home.

Requirements

Qualified 1st level nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Genuine passion for providing high-quality care to older persons.

Team-oriented approach with the ability to build positive working relationships.

Experience working with older persons or within relevant healthcare settings.

Good understanding of HIQA standards and regulatory requirements in healthcare settings.

Previous supervisory or leadership experience is desirable.

Ability to deliver person-centred care with professionalism and compassion.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and continuous professional development.
