About The Team
The Seller Systems team is dedicated to empowering sellers and stakeholders at Stripe by streamlining and optimizing the selling process. This is a top priority for Stripe as it expands its enterprise revenue globally. We build tools and systems to make the end-to-end selling process across initial contact with customers, deal modeling, negotiation, approvals, contracting, onboarding, and activation absolutely world class We are treating this area as an engineering problem from first-principles, implemented with a hybrid architecture of first party developed custom Stripe components inter-operating with third-party standard business components. Our vision is to be able to offer a single plane of glass experience to our Sellers at Stripe, to allow them to leverage AI through workflows that allow them to minimize overhead and increase their time on increasingly efficient selling.
What you’ll do
As a Staff Engineer in Seller Systems, you will be a technical anchor for one of Stripe's highest-priority engineering investments - building the infrastructure that powers how Stripe sells to and wins customers globally. You will own and drive multi-year technical strategy across a complex hybrid architecture of first-party Stripe systems and third-party platforms (including Salesforce), while directly shaping the seller experience across the full quote-to-cash lifecycle.
You will set the architectural direction and be a multiplier across teams - owning end-to-end technical decisions that span seller-facing workflows, core platform services, and integrations with Stripe's financial infrastructure.

Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico, Bengaluru, India, and Dublin, Ireland work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.
