Development team, you'll have the

Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

• Drive technology development of photonics for example enabling the scaling towards very large ion trap chips
• Design, fabricate and characterize photonic circuit chips for a wide range of applications
• Author technical reports and publications in close collaborations with internal and external partners
• Supervise Master and PhD students

Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• PhD degree in physics, quantum engineering, electrical engineering
• 3+ years of hands on experience in photonics, quantum optics and/or ion trapping
• High level of motivation, striving for photonics and quantum computing to become a reality
• Be fluent in English communication and presentation skills (German is a plus)
