Position Responsibilities

Develop product requirements, feature requirements, systems, and performance analyses. Work with the team to conduct deep-dive customer sessions, new technology introduction of 4G/5G RAN Network Management features and introduction of virtualized networks (VNF/CNF based solutions). Analyze customer requirements, convert them into system requirements, and capture high-level designs for the development team. Responsible for Technical Management of new products and software releases to ensure that promised features are delivered with expected performance. Provide technical support in the pre-sales process and create compelling technical and commercial solutions to help achieve the assigned sales goals and business objectives. Translate and communicate complex technical design considerations between the Samsung sales team and carriers’ network business. Work closely with various support organizations, logistics, and cross-functional teams from SEA and Samsung HQ to achieve successful new product roll-outs and developments.

Position Requirements

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and ten years of experience in the job offered or as a Systems Engineer, Design Engineer, or another related occupation. Must have eight years of experience in the following skills: (1) working with high availability and redundant systems; (2) working with R&D teams to finalize feature roadmaps and presenting in technical deep-dive sessions to customer; and (3) working with pre-sales technical teams for Request for Proposal (RFP) responses. Must have six years of experience in the following skills: (4) OAMP and FCAPS subsystem design and development in wireless networks; (5) managing Openstack and Kubernetes environments; (6) virtualized solutions in Wireless Networks; (7) virtualized RAN Application Management; and (8) OAM design and development. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week
