Job Description

Passionate about WLAN MAC Design and wireless communication technologies? Join our team to develop next-generation WLAN solutions and work on cutting-edge semiconductor products. This role offers the opportunity to design high-performance MAC architectures, drive RTL development, optimize PPA, and contribute to advanced Wi-Fi standards including 802.11n/ac/ax/be.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Design and implement WLAN MAC digital systems and subsystems.
  • Develop and maintain RTL code using Verilog/VHDL for WLAN MAC protocols and features.
  • Optimize designs for Performance, Power, and Area (PPA) requirements.
  • Develop unit-level testbenches and perform simulation, debugging, and validation.
  • Integrate and validate designs with industry-standard interfaces such as AMBA (AXI/AHB/APB) and PCIe.
  • Perform Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) and Reset Domain Crossing (RDC) analysis.
  • Execute synthesis activities and ensure timing, area, and power closure.
  • Collaborate with architecture, verification, and software teams throughout the development cycle.
  • Prepare design specifications, technical documentation, and technical presentations.
  • Conduct design reviews and quality checks to ensure compliance with product specifications and industry standards.

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in RTL design and digital hardware development.
  • Strong expertise in WLAN MAC design and wireless communication systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Verilog/VHDL, FPGA/ASIC design flows, and synthesis methodologies.
  • Good understanding of digital design fundamentals and high-speed bus protocols such as AMBA and PCIe.
  • Experience using EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens EDA (Mentor Graphics).
  • Knowledge of CDC/RDC analysis, timing closure, and low-power design methodologies.
  • Familiarity with IEEE 802.11n/ac/ax/be WLAN standards.
  • Exposure to scripting languages such as Python or Perl is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
