Responsibilities:
Manage key customer relationships across consumer, industrial, aerospace, military, automotive, and other markets, with a focus on quality-related matters.
Oversee and communicate customer failure analysis requests, issue resolution, improvement initiatives, and new product introduction activities (APQP/PPAP), as well as PCN communications and approvals, periodic quality reviews, and customer quality status reporting.
Collaborate with sales, customer operations, business unit, test, design, product, planning, and regional quality engineering teams to address customer inquiries and resolve quality-related challenges in a timely manner.
Serve as the primary customer interface for quality requirements, field returns, 8D reports, and customer audits.
Advocate for customers by representing their needs and expectations, interpreting requirements, and driving quality systems and process improvements that support evolving customer needs, satisfaction, and scorecard performance.
Demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to develop and facilitate data‑driven solutions to complex issues.
Qualifications:
5–10 years of experience in Customer Quality Engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related technical field; master’s degree preferred.
Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, failure mechanisms, reliability stress testing, and failure analysis tools and techniques.
Experience working with demanding customers and performing effectively in high-pressure situations.
Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to multiple organizational levels both internally and externally.
Ability to travel locally, domestically within the United States, and internationally as needed.
Knowledge of commercial and automotive semiconductor standards such as APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, and AEC‑Q100 is ideal. Familiarity with issue‑resolution methodologies including 8D, 5‑Why, Is/Is‑Not, Ishikawa, fishbone, and fault tree analysis. Data analysis skills for identifying trends in semiconductor manufacturing data, customer issues, and project challenges are a plus.
