
Tesla's Battery Electronics team is hiring an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design of high-voltage battery management PCBAs for our newest vehicles, including the Robotaxi and next-generation mass market platforms, Roadster, Semi, Cybertruck, as well as our established SX3Y lineup, residential and industrial energy storage solutions, and Optimus.
We are seeking an exceptional hands-on Engineer with strong electrical engineering fundamentals, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, relishes tackling hard engineering challenges, and is passionate about playing a pivotal role in advancing Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end PCBA design, encompassing initial concept development, design requirements, schematics and layout, design validation, and scaling for mass production. Collaborating closely with mechanical design, firmware engineering, test, and manufacturing teams, you will optimize your designs for best-in-class performance and reliability while also focusing on minimizing parts count and reducing BOM costs.

Expected Compensation
$192,000 - $288,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
