
Cabell Huntington Hospital seeks a full-time Staff Development Instructor to work in our Clinical Training and Development department.
The Staff Development Instructor is responsible for assessing, developing, and delivering education to health care staff to support competency development. This role ensures the implementation of evidence-based practices that promote safe, high quality patient care.
Responsibilities include planning and facilitating orientation, skills training, and continuing education. The instructor integrates principles of human development across the lifespan into educational activities and contributes to policy and program development.
The Staff Development Instructor is accountable for meeting assigned deadlines, maintaining compliance metrics, and supporting organizational and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
ANCC Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPD) or specialty certification preferred
