Arctic Wolf is looking for a Staff Full Stack Developer to join the SOAR team. SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) is a security operations platform that helps organizations streamline incident response, automate repetitive security workflows, and improve analyst efficiency through intelligent orchestration and automation.
As a Staff Developer, you will provide technical leadership for the SOAR platform, driving the design and delivery of large-scale, cloud-native solutions across both frontend and backend systems. You will own end-to-end technical execution of strategic initiatives, influence architecture, establish engineering best practices, and mentor engineers while partnering closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to build scalable, secure, and reliable products.
Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of strategic full-stack initiatives across the SOAR platform.
Build scalable backend services using Go, Java, Python, or Node.js, and modern frontend applications using React.
Design distributed systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures that are scalable, resilient, and maintainable.
Drive technical direction for cloud-native applications running on Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
Own end-to-end delivery of major product capabilities, from architecture through deployment and production operations.
Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.
Lead architectural reviews, resolve complex technical challenges, and drive long-term improvements to platform scalability and reliability.
Mentor engineers across the team, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning.
Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Quality Engineering, and cross-functional engineering teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies, improving developer productivity, and reducing technical debt.
10+ years of professional experience building and delivering large-scale full-stack software applications.
Expert-level experience developing production-grade backend services using Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.
Strong hands-on experience building modern frontend applications using React and contemporary web technologies.
Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures, REST APIs, and event-driven platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
Experience designing scalable data models using SQL and NoSQL databases.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, observability, and DevOps practices.
Demonstrated experience leading system design, architectural discussions, and delivering large engineering projects independently.
Proven ability to mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and drive engineering best practices across teams.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience building enterprise SaaS or cybersecurity platforms.
Experience defining reusable frameworks, shared platform capabilities, and engineering standards.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, platform engineering, and developer productivity tooling.
Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives and influencing architecture across multiple engineering teams.
