Required Qualifications
  • 7–10 years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience managing Azure production environments.
  • Deep Kubernetes Expertise: Proven track record of managing AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) at scale, including cluster upgrades, ingress management, and persistent storage.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced proficiency in Terraform for provisioning complex cloud architectures.
  • Configuration Management: Expert-level experience with Ansible for OS-level orchestration, patching, and maintaining "Golden Images."
  • Day 2 Operations: Demonstrated experience in the "keep the lights on" phase, performance tuning, cost optimization, and resolving production-grade security vulnerabilities.
  • CI/CD Mastery: Experience building and maintaining pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins) that integrate security scanning and automated testing.
  • Networking & Security: Strong understanding of Azure networking (VNETs, Peering, Private Links) and security frameworks (RBAC, Azure Policy, Key Vault).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Azure Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Experience setting up and managing Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Prometheus/Grafana stacks to proactively catch "Day 2" issues.
  • Team Leadership: Experience acting as a technical lead or "player-coach" who enjoys documenting processes to prevent single points of failure.
  • Technical Communication: Ability to explain complex infrastructure concepts to non-technical stakeholders or internal customers.


Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Equivalent professional experience (10+ years) and high-level industry certifications may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:
