The Staff Clinician is assigned to a Life University Clinic and supports the mission and vision of the University and the College of Chiropractic. The Staff Clinician provides the highest level of chiropractic patient care, services, and student education, while offering operational support and performing other duties as directed.
Implements, promotes, and practices a vitalistic approach to patient care centered on the vertebral subluxation complex in the clinical application of chiropractic.
Develops, manages, and operates a full-time chiropractic practice within the accepted model of care, serving a broad range of patient types in a teaching clinic environment.
Meets all assigned Key Performance Objectives (KPOs).
Demonstrates behaviors that contribute to a developing, nurturing, and innovative healthcare environment.
Effectively utilizes the LIFE student mentorship model supported by a business and practice management framework that reflects contemporary chiropractic success.
Adheres to clinical, operational, and business practices consistent with the LIFE model of care while focusing on providing safe, high-quality patient care and education.
Ensures that all aspects of patient care and management—including histories, examinations, x-rays, diagnostic studies, and adjustments—are consistent with accepted LIFE chiropractic standards of care.
Practices within disciplines congruent with the LIFE model of care (e.g., Radiology, Functional Kinesiology, Functional Neurology, etc.).
Fosters meaningful, long-term professional relationships with patients and the public that enhance overall health and well-being.
Complies with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to the practice of chiropractic.
Adheres to federal and state entitlement programs as well as third-party payer contracts.
Complies with clinic Quality Assurance and Improvement (QA&I) policies and procedures.
Participates in clinician and clinical development activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as assigned by the Supervisor.

Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited program, with a current license in good standing in the State of Georgia (or eligibility for licensure in Georgia).
Excellent skills in chiropractic assessment, diagnosis, patient care, and adjustive technique.
Strong communication, education, organizational, documentation, and computer application skills.
Demonstrates integrity, character, and leadership in providing excellence in chiropractic care to humanity.
Models optimal citizenship and professionalism within the Life University community.
Maintains mental concentration for extended periods of time.

Georgia Chiropractic License in good standing (or license eligible; must obtain within 90 days) with certification in modalities.
Current CPR certification.
Clinical teaching experience.
Related post-graduate training, diplomate program participation or completion, certification, or relevant coursework.
Requires stooping, turning, bending, squatting, kneeling, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Involves constant and repetitive standing.
Requires normal or correctable vision and hearing, and the ability to accurately discern color as necessary for job functions.
Includes all other customary physical and emotional demands associated with chiropractic practice and the supervision of student interns.
Work performed in both general office and clinic environments.
