Provides professional chaplaincy services to patients, families, and staff from an interfaith and interdisciplinary framework. Is responsible for spiritual assessment, communication of needs of patients/families to the interdisciplinary team and resourcing those needs. Provides crisis intervention/support for patients, families, staff. Assists families/staff with exploring ethical considerations.Staff Chaplain position, full time.
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or GED. Religious training or education equivalent to a seminary/divinity school degree, preferably at the M.Div level. Required
Minimum Work Experience - 1 year experience
Completion of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (1600 hours of training under supervision), preferable by an accredited program of the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (acpe.edu), or equivalent. One year experience in pediatric chaplaincy (may be met through a clinical pastoral education residency).
