Job Description

Shield AI is seeking a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to lead both the day-to-day stewardship of Finance's Record to Report (RTR) processes and play a primary role in a high-priority ERP implementation initiative. In this business role, you will develop deep relationships with key accounting and finance stakeholders and build a thorough understanding of the Record to Report process and the systems that support it. You will own and drive standardization so our operations teams can scale and achieve process excellence. A critical near-term mandate is serving as the Record to Report Business Lead for Shield AI 's Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation — acting as the bridge between Finance and IT to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into system design, that milestones are met on time and on budget, and that end users are set up for lasting success.

Success will require close partnership with Finance and Accounting leaders and teams, the CIO organization, and external implementation partners to align systems and practices with Shield AI 's overall business strategy. You will own scalability, functionality, and ease of execution across all Record to Report processes, with the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation as the cornerstone initiative.

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience with large ERP systems is required.
• 3-5 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, with hands-on experience in Fusion General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, Allocations, ARCS, FCCS, EDMCS, Financial Reporting Studio, OTBI and BI Publisher modules is required.
• 10+ years of experience working with financial applications, including working with vendors and internal customers to resolve and respond to financial system issues and inquiries.
• Full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementation experience leading Record to Report business process.
• Proven track record of managing projects within budget and timeline; PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience across multiple Finance functional areas (e.g., accounting, record-to-report, business intelligence, HR/payroll, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash).
• Experience working with systems that handle sensitive data, including SOX controls and change management processes; familiarity with a DCAA/FAR-DFARS-compliant or CMMC-aligned control environment is a plus.
• Ability to own and maintain user access controls to support periodic audits and process changes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage projects with minimal supervision.
• Ability to develop business cases and cost/benefit analyses for management evaluation.
• Ability to oversee security policies and procedures to ensure compliance, including Oracle Fusion Cloud role-based security and segregation-of-duties controls.
• Ability to drive projects to completion, testing, and acceptance of project results.
• Relevant work experience with ERP boundary systems, Concur, Avalara, Coupa, Floqast, and other financial systems preferred; Oracle Cloud ecosystem experience (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud) is a plus.
• Ability to provide on-call and after-hours support for key projects to support critical deadlines.
