Job Description

Consumer Money is a full-service digital banking product built to help our members make the most out of their money. It’s also a fundamental piece of Intuit’s broader consumer strategy, and in this role you will work closely with colleagues both at Credit Karma and TurboTax.

As a Staff Business Development Manager for Consumer Money, you will be an individual contributor responsible for developing partnerships that power the growth of the Consumer Money platform. You will lead a wide range of deals from conception through execution, working alongside a diverse and cross-functional team. Your efforts will include shaping partnership strategy, assessing the partner landscape, conducting diligence on potential partners, negotiating deals, and analyzing a deal’s business impact.

This role is critical to scaling one of Intuit’s most strategic businesses. Executing on our vision will require developing and managing an ecosystem of innovative partners that can support and accelerate our efforts to build differentiated, best-in-class experiences for our members.

Responsibilities

  • Scope, build, and scale some of Consumer Money’s most critical partnerships

  • Maintain relationships and negotiate renewal deals with existing partners

  • Own the full deal process end to end, including: developing strategy, evaluating partners, facilitating executive alignment, negotiating terms, and supporting implementation

  • Execute cross-functionally with a wide range of internal stakeholders including Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Marketing

  • Influence Consumer Money strategy as a subject-matter expert — keeping abreast of the partner landscape, and analyzing and providing perspectives on the business impact of potential partnership efforts

  • Raise the bar for the BD craft: set deal standards, share reusable frameworks and playbooks, and mentor less experienced partnership managers without formal reporting authority

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) with 8+ years of partnerships, investment banking, consulting, and/or strategic BD experience
