Pennoni Associates is currently seeking a Staff Bridge Engineer to perform the following, but not limited to:
Required Attributes
EIT certification is required and eligible for taking the Professional Engineer’s examine within 12 months of joining Pennoni.
Background in structural performance monitoring and instrumentation of bridges and buildings.
Experience in finite element analysis using CSiBridge and other model software.
Experience in refined load rating using data from structural instrumentation.
Preferred Attributes
Professional Engineer License.
Experience in the analysis of complex steel and concrete bridges, bascule span, swing span and lift span bridge performance using global structural monitoring data.
Refined load rating conforming to the AASHTO Bridge Evaluation Manual.
Experience in the development of MATLAB and Python code for the analysis of structural performance data.
