Job Description

NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Staff Associate at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Our administrative teams assume the crucial role of ensuring seamless operations throughout every stage of the delicate client family life cycle, from the initial meeting with families, until final arrangements are made. We serve as the cornerstone of our client family support structure, acting as the glue that holds everything together. We are problem solvers and peace-of-mind-providers - we uphold our commitment to care in every interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and tearing down funeral services at Floral Haven and off-site venues
  • Directing and parking vehicles with care and professionalism
  • Washing, preparing, and staging service vehicles
  • Arranging floral displays and ensuring proper presentation
  • Moving, organizing, and maintaining funeral service equipment
  • Providing exceptional communication and customer service to families and guests
  • Demonstrating a natural sense of empathy in all interactions
  • Maintaining reverence, respect, and professionalism at all times
  • Collaborating effectively as part of a supportive team

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to remain calm and supportive in difficult or emotional situations
  • Strong service-oriented mindset
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a physically active role
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
