Within Retail Technology, you’ll be part of Home Buying Technology unit which engineer the applications underpinning our retail home lending business. The team is responsible for delivering amazing experiences and exceptional end-to-end capabilities to our customers through the multiple channels such as digital, branch and broker/third party.

Design and build AI agent ecosystems and intelligent assistants that transform how customers interact with CBA, enabling faster, smarter, and more personalised banking experiences.
Help shape the future of AI-powered banking platforms by building scalable AI systems that leverage CBA’s enterprise AI ecosystem and support millions of customer interactions
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and build AI-powered applications and intelligent agent ecosystems that enable seamless digital experiences for customers navigating their home buying journey.
Develop multi-agent systems using Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication patterns to orchestrate complex workflows across enterprise systems and banking services.
Build scalable AI and data platforms, developing robust data pipelines and distributed processing systems to support AI, analytics, and machine learning workloads.
Develop and deploy generative AI solutions leveraging enterprise AI platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, Lite LLM, Portkey, and Microsoft Copilot Studio, including LLM orchestration and prompt workflows.
Collaborate with Data Science, product, and engineering teams to productionise machine learning models and deliver customer-facing AI capabilities.
Contribute to architecture, engineering standards, and best practices for building scalable, secure, and responsible AI systems.
Essential Skills:
Strong programming experience in Python, with hands-on use of Pandas, SQL, and PySpark for building data pipelines and large-scale data processing systems.
Experience working with enterprise data platforms and distributed data processing tools such as Hadoop, Apache Spark, Ab Initio, and Teradata.
Experience building AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), including multi-agent systems, AI assistants, chatbots, or generative AI applications.
Strong understanding of AI agent architectures, including Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication patterns, agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph), and asynchronous programming using Python Asyncio.
Experience developing scalable backend services for AI applications using FastAPI, microservices architecture, and API-driven integrations.
Experience working with enterprise AI platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, Lite LLM, Portkey, and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
Experience building and deploying production AI systems using modern engineering practices such as CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), version control, testing, and monitoring.
Ability to collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to design and deliver AI-powered digital experiences.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to contribute to technical architecture, platform design, and engineering best practices.
Education Qualification :-
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
