The Staff Accountant 1 is expected to produce high volume of accounting work and/or special projects. Applies principles of accounting to prepare and analyze property financial reconciliations and statements. Prepares year-end reconciliations/schedules and works with supervisor to ensure timely completion of audits and tax returns of assigned projects. Prepares reports and works with accounting team to summarize and interpret current and projected financial position of assigned projects. Performs the duties listed below and other duties as assigned.

Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers, clients, and other
employees of the organization. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages,
ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Able to analyze and review financial data. Highly accurate in mathematical computations. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
