About the role:

As the Staff Accountant (Accounts Payable), you will have broad responsibilities across all functions, including exposure to accounting, reporting and analysis. This role is for someone who will work closely with global accounting team by providing assistance to process bills, payments, and other closing tasks. You will work closely with managements and seniors in the accounting and finance team as well as cross-functional leaders throughout the company.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Review the procurement process, including purchase order and understanding of the 3-way matching process.
• Support vendor onboarding and compliance with documentation requirements.
• Process and validate invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ability to accurately identify the nature of expenses and assign them to the appropriate general ledger account.
• Act as the primary person for regional stakeholders, vendors, business partners, and banks on Accounts Payable matters, including payment status inquiries, payment discrepancies, and banking-related payment issue resolution.
• Manage payment processing activities, including ACH transfers, wire transfers, checks, and other payment methods, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of payments.
• Perform monthly and quarterly accounts payable close activities
• Build cash flow forecasts and track actual cash disbursement transactions.
• Assist with SOX compliance and audit requests by gathering supporting documentation and providing explanations as needed.
• Support other ad hoc accounts payable tasks.

What you will bring to our team:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Familiar with US GAAP is preferred.
• Good communication skill in English.
• Teamwork spirit, responsible and practical ability to take full ownership of Accounts Payable operations for the assigned region, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to maintain focus, and willingness to learn new skills and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, drive corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
• Good PC skills, familiar with Microsoft office, especially Excel.
• Experience in Oracle NetSuite is preferred
