A Typical Day in the Life:
As a staff accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients’ financial needs.
Responsibilities may include:Complete simple transactions with oversight, performing self-review to ensure accuracy and completeness of work. Transactions include but are not limited to:Processing monthly accounts and preparing bank reconciliationsState sales and use taxAnnual 1099’s and 1096’sYear-end W2 adjustmentsClient depreciation schedulesAnalyze client financial records and prepare annual financial statements and source documents. May prepare client individual organizers.Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.May begin to build client relationships. Handle all administrative tasks, as assigned.Assist with special projects as needed.Responsible for achieving annual billable hour goals while maintaining high standards of client service and contributing to the firm's revenue, profitability, operational excellence, and other strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in an accounting-related field; or equivalent experience and/or training.basic knowledge of Microsoft 365.Proven ability to exercise discretion, analytical thinking, and independent judgement.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
