The Staff Accountant role will facilitate the day-to-day accounting functions in the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cashflow/banking, and other accounting areas.
· Participate in the month end close process.
· Prepare and park journal entries related to revenue, COGS, prepaids, and cash.
· Prepare P&L analysis monthly to be reviewed by management and Operations team.
· Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
· Preparation of information to support the financial, tax and bank audits.
· Prepare reporting package (P&L and KPI’s) for upper management.
· Assist in the completion of special projects/ad hoc reporting and analysis.
· Drive process and tool standardization across the company
· Ad Hoc assistance within accounting as needed to support the business.
· Financial Analysis and reporting experience preferred.
· Experience in accounting close and consolidation processes preferred.
· Research and reconciliation skills required.
· Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite required.
· SAP experience is preferred but not required.
· Experience with Accounts Receivables and/or Accounts Payable is preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills required.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while working accurately and proficiently.
· Ability to work well with individuals at all levels inside and outside of the organization.
· Strong communications skills (written and verbal).
· Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Team player who thrives in a small, cross-functional team.
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting required, path to CPA desired but not required
