Job Shift: Day ShiftRothman Orthopaedics is looking to hire a full time Staff Accountant based in our Center City Philadelphia office! This is a hybrid position that requires three days a work onsite each week.

Summary:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records and reports, performing accounts reconciliations, assisting with close processes and maintaining applicable account documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries, analyses, account reconciliations and assisting with the monthly close process.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Meet processing and reporting deadlines, both internal and external.
- Respond to and assist with information requests, reviewing financials statements and assisting with external audits.
- Ensure that accounting records and reporting are compliant with GAAP standards.
- Assist Asst Controller and Senior Accountant as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Basic understanding of Microsoft, especially Excel, and GAAP
- Self-starter with the ability to identify accounting discrepancies, problem solve and think critically; Strong time-management skills; Ability to work under time constraints and pressure; Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Salary Range:
$64,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
