Job Description

Well-established, privately held commercial construction and property management company with a 30+ year track record ]is looking for a full-time, fully on-site Staff Accountant.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Owning accounts receivable end-to-end: processing customer payments, monitoring aging, and following up on outstanding balances across multiple company entities
- Maintaining the check log, rent log, and oil and gas revenue log
- Serving as payroll backup and ensuring timely, accurate processing
- Assisting with monthly general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
- Supporting month-end close activities
- Serving as the primary point of contact for incoming calls
- Supporting management with administrative accounting projects

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience covering AR, bank reconciliation, and general ledger
- Payroll processing or documented payroll backup experience
- Microsoft Excel and Outlook proficiency
- Construction, real estate, property management, or oil and gas experience is a strong plus
- Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus -- company will train the right candidate
