As a Staff Accountant at Belle Tire,you'llsupport the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting within a fast-growing, multi-location retail organization. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive accounting professional who is eager to deepen their technical skills and contribute to continuous improvement.You'llwork closely with cross-functional partners and the broader accounting team to support month-end close, reconciliations, audits, and operational accounting activities. WhatYou'llDo

• Maintain fixed assets records.
• Maintain lease accounting records.
• Maintain real andpersonal propertytax records andassistwith audits.
• Perform month-end and year-end close activities.
• Complete and resolve balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze Profit and Loss statements related to assigned responsibilities.
• Provide support for the Finance Help Desk.
• Assistwith annual financial statement audit.
• Act asliaisonwith Store Operations for inventory support including serving as a contact for quarterly inventory counts.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Identifyopportunities to streamline accounting processes, improveefficiencyand drive automation.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as business needs evolve.

WhatWe'reLooking For

MinimumQualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountingor related field
• 3 years ofAccountingexperience
• Advancedproficiencyin Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong planning,organizationaland communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced,frequentlychanging environment.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP
• Experience in a retail-based company

WorkEnvironment

The position is based in an office environment, requiring periods of sitting and the operation of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and other office toolsWork hours are typically 8-5, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed
