As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and compliance of our financial operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys owning core bookkeeping and accounting processes in a fast-paced, scaling environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and complete financial records in accordance with GAAP.

• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements.

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

• Oversee tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable federal and provincial regulations.

• Perform general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Support internal controls and conduct internal reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Assist with external audits and respond to auditor requests.

Qualifications

• CPA designation in good standing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience.

• Strong proficiency with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
