Job Description

Woodruff Arts Center employees play an integral role in creating and supporting great art and education initiatives at the nation’s third largest arts center. Comprised of three Art Partners—Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and High Museum of Art—there’s a role for everyone at The Woodruff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with new vendor account set up in the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of required documentation
  • Serve as point of contact for vendor inquiries and respond in a timely, professional manner
  • Perform vendor account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Maintain and update vendors master data, ensuring proper controls and data integrity
  • Work with Art Partners to verify vendor information and resolve issues
  • Assist with Fixed Asset Tagging
  • Support Fixed Asset inventory tracking
  • Support month-end close activities related to vendor accounts and asset tracking
  • Assist with audit preparation by providing vendor and fixed asset documentation
  • Crosstrain in cash management functions, including cash receipts and reconciliation processes
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting or ERP systems preferred
  • Strong communication skills for handling vendor interactions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
