ABOUT: Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas (LANWT) is a non-profit public interest law firm that provides high-quality, free civil legal services to low‑income individuals and families in 114 counties across North and West Texas. LANWT seeks a dynamic, self‑motivated Staff Accountant with vision, initiative, and a strong commitment to the Non-Profit sector to join our accounting team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As a key member of the Accounting team, the Staff Accountant supports the organization’s financial integrity, grant compliance, and reporting accuracy. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), funder requirements, and organizational policies. SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience
