Staff Accountant

Location:

On-site, Phnom Penh

OE.I (Cambodia) Co., Ltd is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to be an integral part of our Finance Department. This is an onsite position in Phnom Pehn.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendors’ invoices into Accounts Payable system, ensuring invoices are approved for payment and processed against proper GL accounts.
• Submit customer invoices into various customer-specific systems.
• Apply AR payments to customer accounts and follow up on aged invoices.
• Communicate with employees to effectively resolve billing-related matters in a timely manner.
• Research and respond to customer and vendor inquiries.
• Maintain accounting files and prepare documentation for processing, as needed.
• Assist with reporting, monthly closing process, and special projects.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable
• Fluent in English
• High attention to detail
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• Competency in MS Office
• Aptitude for numbers
• Ability to perform record keeping tasks
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Self-motivated and well-organized

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university
• Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint
