The First Electronics Corporation (FEC), a Trexon Company – part of Amphenol (a public parent company), is actively seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant. This role supports the accounting function for the Business Unit (BU) by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with key accounting processes. The Staff Accountant plays an important role in ensuring the integrity of financial data and contributing to informed financial decision-making.
Reporting directly to FEC’s Assistant Controller, the Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting corporate accounting policies at the BU level and maintaining appropriate internal controls to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. This role involves working within ERP systems and other tools to support day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and SOX compliance requirements.
The Staff Accountant’s responsibilities include assisting with month-end close, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, and analyzing financial data to support the business. This individual will work closely with the Assistant Controller and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting, while also identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as the Staff Accountant will collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA path or MBA preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a dedicated accounting/finance function, Manufacturing and inventory accounting experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge:
Training will be provided on internal FEC, Trexon and Amphenol processes and systems, as required for this position.
