Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

  • Prepare monthly journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliations
  • Manage intercompany transactions, including invoicing and communication across entities
  • Analyze and interpret accounting reports from service organizations and partners
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address accounting-related questions and issues
  • Support internal and external audit processes, including annual audit preparation
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of financial information and records
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, particularly through automation
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports (e.g., cash, accounts receivable)

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • 0+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including debits/credits, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Smart View is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and legal documents
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams and levels
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
  • Hybrid work schedule with 4 days per week in-office in Charlotte, NC

Compensation & EEO

The base salary for this role is between $60,000 and $65,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, and location.
