A day in the life:

As the Staff Accountant, you will prepare financial statements and reports, participate in the monthly and quarterly closing process and assist in the preparation of the SEC filings . Develops spreadsheet reports, verifies information, prepares journal entries, and reconciles accounts and balance sheets.

The impact you'll make:

  • Participate in various aspects of the monthly, quarterly closing process including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Participate in the consolidation process of multiple subsidiaries including intercompany reconciliations and foreign currency accounting.
  • Assist in the preparation and timely filing of reports required with the SEC, including reports on 10-Q, 10-K and other filings.
  • Produce clear and organized work papers that adequately support the Company’s SEC filings.
  • Conduct financial audits, assist with year-end audits.

Who you are:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Accounting, Finance, or related field of study
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in reading and analyzing financial reports
  • Strong proficiency in Excel. Preferred experience with Microsoft office package and SAP.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Understanding of US tax regulations

Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation. This position has an estimated annual salary of $68,640 - $80,000. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
