What You’ll Do:

  1. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
    • Monitor and manage cash flow.
  2. Financial Reporting:
    • Assist with account reconciliations
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain accurate and timely financial records.
  3. General Ledger Management:
    • Oversee and manage the general ledger.
    • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
    • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts.
  4. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
    • Monitor and analyze budget variances.
    • Develop financial forecasts to support business planning.
  5. Auditing and Compliance:
    • Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures.
    • Prepare and submit necessary compliance reports.
  6. Financial Analysis:
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights.
    • Prepare reports on financial performance and suggest improvements.
    • Support strategic decision-making with financial data.
  7. Tax and Regulatory Filings:
    • Prepare and submit tax filings in a timely manner.
    • Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance.
    • Manage and resolve any tax-related issues.
  8. Collaboration and Support:
    • Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights.
    • Support the finance team in various projects and initiatives.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and systems.



Qualifications

What You Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience in a corporate setting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
