About the Position:


As a key member of our finance team, the Staff Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the firm’s day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close processes. This role involves preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, managing payroll and benefits, posting daily bank activity, and analyzing monthly compensation and insurance data. The ideal candidate will bring precision, consistency, and a proactive approach to maintaining the financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting standards
  • Assist with cash posting and daily cash management
  • Support accounts receivable by monitoring collections and following up on overdue accounts
  • Collaborate with the team to improve accounting processes and workflow
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
