Xenia Recruitment are looking to recruit experienced hospitality and bar staff for a wide range of exciting events and venues across Newcastle & the North East!

We are a hospitality and events specialist staffing agency covering the North East, Yorkshire & London primarily, with other adhoc events across the UK and we are looking for fun, hospitality loving individuals to join our team!

Shifts are flexible so you can pick and choose which ones to apply for via our very easy to use app! Although we have all the latest tech, we still like to meet everyone before sending them out onto to shifts so that we know you feel completely prepared and ready to get stuck in!

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have:

✨ Previous bar, waiting or hospitality experience

✨ Great communication and customer service skills

✨ A positive, proactive and professional attitude

✨ A keen work ethic and be reliable and punctual

✨ Confidence working in new and fast paced environments

Whilst previous experience in the hospitality sector is preferred, candidates should still apply if they possess all other ideal attributes or have transferable experience from other sectors.

‼️ All candidates must be 18 and over, and have the right to work in the UK

What would the work entail?

Whilst every shift and venue differ in how they work, the fundamentals are generally the same and may include:

🍴Laying tables with cutlery, crockery & glassware to the venue standards

✍️ Accurately taking food and drinks orders

🍻 Confidently pulling pints, pouring wine and handling spirits

🍾 Opening wine and champagne

🥣 Carrying, serving and clearing plates

🍷 Serving drinks and clearing glassware using trays

💷 Handling cash and using different till systems & softwares to process payments and take orders

👩‍💼 Following instructions from supervisors and managers

😊 Conversing with guests and giving excellent customer service
