Job Description
We are looking for backend engineers who are passionate about building AI-driven infrastructure as well as strengthening system architecture, scalability, and stability. This role focuses on designing and operating robust backend foundations that enable intelligent systems, improve service resilience, and support the long-term evolution of large-scale platforms. You will work on core backend systems that power AI capabilities in production, including platform architecture, service reliability, performance optimization, observability, and automation.
The ideal candidate is committed to solving hard engineering problems and building infrastructure that is both technically strong and operationally dependable.You will partner closely with payment product teams, risk, compliance, finance, SRE, and global engineering teams to ensure payment services are secure, resilient, performant, and operationally excellent across markets.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop backend infrastructure systems to improve the stability and reliability of the Global Payment platform.
- Build and optimize monitoring, observability, and automation capabilities for large-scale distributed systems.
- Collaborate with SRE, payment product, and cross-functional engineering teams to identify and resolve system reliability issues.
- Participate in architecture design discussions and contribute to engineering standards for infrastructure components.
- Analyze system performance metrics and drive continuous improvements in service availability and resilience.
