Details of the Role:

The Body Work Panel Beater is responsible for repairing body damage on vehicles, ensuring they are restored to their original condition and delivered according to established quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Repairing body damage to vehicles, including dent removal, straightening, welding, and replacing damaged parts
• Dismantling and reassembling body components
• Preparing vehicles for painting (sanding, filling, degreasing)
• All brand (mostly European)
• Masking parts or vehicle areas that must not be painted
• Inspecting completed repairs to ensure high-quality finish and workmanship
• Operating alignment benches, hand tools, and modern repair equipment
• Complying with safety regulations and workshop procedures
• Identifying and reporting additional damage or technical issues
• Collaborating closely with colleagues such as spray painters and mechanics

Background/experience:

• Education in automotive body repair or equivalent experience
• Strong technical insight and attention to detail
• Ability to work accurately and with a strong focus on quality
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of modern repair techniques and materials is considered an asset
• Precision and craftsmanship
