Job Mission
The Transfer Project Lead leads x-functional teams responsible for a number of supply chain transfers for complex parts and modules and to meet the required QLTCS (Quality, Logistic, Technology, cost, Sustainability) specifications. This role is also part of cross-discipline management team including development & Engineering, Product Mgmt., Manufacturing, Customer Support, and Sourcing & Procurement with focus on sourcing and procurement deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead a team of cross-discipline team members to achieve ASML product transfer strategies.
Apply ASML’s project management standards to lead coordination of Initiation, Plan, Execution, and Closure phases to achieve ASML product transfer strategies.
To deliver the sourcing and supply chain requirements with sourcing managers (SL) and category managers (CM), to meet the agreed quality (Q), material availability and move rate (L), technology performance (T), cost (C), and sustainability (S) requirements.
To industrialize ASML supply chain, by NPI New Product Industrialization directly with suppliers in Asia, or by transferring NPI suppliers in Europe & US regions to HVM suppliers in Asia region.
Develop and manage the project plan of above supply chain industrialization, including breaking a complex project into sequential and parallel tasks, ownership assignment, timeline, resource requirement, risk identification and mitigation, supplier selection, and track supplier performance with other Sourcing and Procurement departments.
Play a pivotal role to consolidate and secure the deliverables from other sectors in order to execute the supply chain transfer. Sectors include D&E, Quality & Logistics Q&L, and Sourcing. Deliverables include part technical specification and drawings, sourcing statement of work, parts quality reports, product costing analysis per design, supplier logistics deliverables.
Establish project governance structure and align with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide transparent, structured reporting and escalate issues/ barriers to senior management to address risk and remove bottlenecks.
Manage and communicate the closure report including LLs/ Best practices.
Drive functional effective collaboration and continuous process improvement.
Subject matter expert in ASML’s project management standards and process.
Education
Master’s degree with well-established knowledge in both technical disciplines and business management.
An MBA from US or European institution is preferred, particularly with a focus in engineering, operations, sourcing, supply chain, or sales key account management background.
Experience
Minimum 10 years of professional experience, preferably in major international company, especially in semiconductor equipment, aerospace, medical or other business-to-business technical industries.
Over 7 years of project management experience leading complex, large-scale projects, preferably by low volume and experience in supply chain management in business-to-business technical environments.
Proven track record of project or business leadership, i.e. driving and leading complex cross-department projects from project initiation, planning, execution to results, engaging stakeholders at various levels.
Experience of working in matrix organizations, both locally and globally, is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
