Head of Supplier Collaboration & Quality (SC&Q) Northeast Asia

Location: Linkou or Tainan, Taiwan

Sector: Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P)

Travel: Up to ~20%, including domestic and international travels

Within Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P), Supplier Collaboration & Quality (SC&Q) plays a critical role in ensuring supplier capability, performance, and lifecycle execution across all business lines.

This role represents the senior leadership of SS&P SC&Q across Northeast Asia, responsible for translating global SS&P SC&Q strategy into regional priorities and execution, building a high-performing organization, and ensuring consistent delivery of supplier performance, industrialization readiness, and lifecycle excellence across the region.

This role direct reports to Head of SS&P Northeast Asia, functional reports to Head of SS&P SC&Q, and is a member of the SC&Q global management team and meeting.”

Job Mission

Lead and operationalize Supplier Collaboration & Quality (SC&Q) teams in Northeast Asia by translating ASML supply chain strategy into robust supplier performance systems, industrialization readiness, and lifecycle execution discipline, delivering measurable QLTCS improvements through structured governance, standardized ways of working, and high-performing teams.

Role & Responsibilities

Leadership & Organization

  • Lead SC&Q teams in Northeast Asia, including Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Configuration Management (CM), Master Data Management (MDM), Transfer and Make to Buy Program, Supplier Audits, Quality & Logistics Means & Methods, Cost Engineering and Cost of Goods (CoG) Program.

  • Act as a staff member of SS&P S&CQ, represent SC&Q teams in Northeast Asia, to increase global collaboration and teamwork

  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, and global collaboration by role modeling ASML’s core values of Challenge, Collaborate, and Care.

  • Drive employee engagement, capability, talent and leadership development, succession planning, and performance management.

  • Translate global SS&P SC&Q and BL strategies into regional priorities, execution roadmaps, performance targets, dashboards and review rhythms

Industrialization & Lifecycle Execution

  • Ensure supplier readiness across ASML product lifecycle—from New Product Introduction (NPI), High Volume Manufacturing (HVM), through Installed Base & Sustaining (IB&S) and End of Life (EOL)

  • Secure readiness and quality of Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical documentation, configuration baselines, and supplier readiness.

Transfer & M2B

  • Lead supplier transfer projects, factory transfer to supplier projects, and supplier phase out / phase in plan

  • Lead milestone-based governance, risk tracking, and project management

Quality & Logistics Means & Methods

  • Deploy standardized processes, performance dashboards, drive continuous improvement, leverage and roll-out worldwide best known method to increase operations efficiency year over year

Cost Engineering & Cost of Goods Projects

  • Drive CoG reduction and cost engineering initiatives, with cluster leads, to achieve the Cost of Goods target agreed with Business Lines

Education

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related field

Experience

  • 15+ years in sourcing, supply chain or manufacturing, in global matrix organizations

  • 10+ year in leading (at least two of following teams): product lifecycle management, configuration management, master data management, supply chain industrialization, supplier quality, and / or supplier account management

  • Leadership of multi-site, multi-functional teams

  • Solid track record of being leader of leaders, building high-performing teams, delivering solid operations results

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven people, operations and business leadership, with successful track record of leading and transforming supply chain organization in global matrix setting.

  • Role‑model leadership behaviors aligned with ASML values (Challenge, Collaborate, Care).

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at both operational and executive levels.

  • Strategic thinking with strong execution discipline.

  • Structured, fact‑based problem solving combined with pragmatic execution.

  • Excellent English (mandatory); Mandarin (optional).
