
Introduction to the job
The SS&P Asia Trade Compliance & Contract Management Manager supports Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) Asia by ensuring consistent execution of trade compliance requirements and disciplined contract management practices across the Asia region.
This role acts as a regional coordination hub, bridging global policy & expertise teams (Trade Compliance, Legal, Contract Management) with AL and TB, ensuring compliance, transparency, and operational efficiency.
Role and responsibilities
Trade Compliance Management (Asia)
Support the execution of SS&P Trade Compliance requirements across Asia sourcing activities, including export controls, import regulations, tariffs, and supplier due diligence
Act as the first point of contact for Asia SS&P teams on trade compliance questions, escalating complex cases to global Trade Compliance experts when required
Coordinate and track trade compliance actions, risk items, and follow‑ups related to suppliers, sourcing projects, and regulatory changes
Support training deployment and awareness for Asia SS&P teams based on global trade compliance materials and SharePoint content
Collect and communicate Asia supply chain impact feedback to global Trade Compliance and relevant corporate stakeholders
Contract Management (Asia)
Support end‑to‑end contract management activities for SS&P Asia in line with ASML Contract Management processes and policies Coordinate contract lifecycle activities including: (1) Contract request intake and tracking (2) Template usage alignment (3) Contract approval workflow coordination (4) Amendment, renewal, and execution tracking
Ensure contracts are properly stored and maintained in designated systems (e.g., ARIBA / contract repositories) following governance rules
Act as a regional interface between Asia SS&P teams and global Contract Management, Legal, and Deal Structuring teams
Process, Governance & Reporting
Monitor and report on trade compliance and contract management KPIs, open actions, and risks for Asia SS&P
Support continuous improvement of process clarity, templates, and guidance for Asia users in collaboration with BP&S and Contract Management teams
Contribute to audits, internal reviews, or management requests related to trade compliance or contracting activities
Maintain structured documentation, trackers, and dashboards to support transparency and decision‑making
Education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Law, International Trade, or related field
5 years above of experience in trade compliance, contract management, procurement operations, or supply chain governance
Familiarity with export/import controls, trade compliance concepts, and contract lifecycle management
Experience working in regional or global matrix organizations, preferably in Asia
Skills
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail and governance mindset
Ability to translate global policies into practical regional execution
Structured working style with strong documentation and follow‑up discipline
Comfortable working with systems, trackers, and SharePoint‑based processes
Fluent in English; additional Asian languages are a plus
Proactive and reliable coordinator
