An excellent opportunity for an experienced Cable Jointer to join a growing HV/LV contractor supporting major DNO and IDNO networks across the South of England. Our client delivers labour-only LV/HV jointing, overlays and substation works and is expanding due to continued demand.
We are seeking a qualified Cable Jointer on a subcontract basis, based in or around West Berkshire You must hold current LV & 11kV authorisations for a recognised UK network operator and have experience working safely on DNO networks. If you work with a trusted mate, this can be considered.
• LV and 11kV jointing to DNO standards
• Completing test sheets and as-laid documentation
• Working safely in line with H&S and network procedures
• Communicating clearly with customers and site teams
• Shared driving to sites within approx. 2 hours of base
• Supporting the development of your jointers mate
• Minimum 3 years’ LV/HV jointing experience
• Current UK DNO LV & 11kV authorisations
• Strong understanding of DNO/IDNO H&S practices
• Full UK driving licence
• Based in the West Berkshire area
• EUSR SHEA Power, First Aid, CSCS, Manual Handling
• Own hand tools and jointing equipment
• Previous experience on southern UK network operators
• £62,000 basic (negotiable)
• Ongoing development with opportunities for further tickets
• Full suite of power tools supplied
• Shared work vehicle
• Full PPE provided
• Regular overtime available most weeks (time and a half / double time)
• Accommodation and meals covered for extended works
• Monday to Friday
• Optional overtime and weekend work available
