• Prepare statutory accounts and monthly financial reporting in line with IFRS

• Coordinate information on all changes in local regulation principles regarding accounting and taxes if needed

• Control and manages all payroll entries & accruals and payroll interface in SAP

• Ensure accurate documentation of all provisions and employee benefits (pensions)

• Reconcile IFRS and Statutory equity

• Prepare and ensure accurate reporting in GPS of RS and tax package

• Supervision of complete accounting ledgers (receivables, payables, fixed assets, general, analytical trend review)

• Prepare and ensure relevant documentation for external auditors and tax inspection

• Ensure accurate monthly tax declaration (VAT; customs & duties…) if not done by Tax department

• Recording of accounting transactions in assigned area according to the local law and MAF standards

• Ensure monthly closing files/closing binder elaboration with appropriate supporting documentation

• Review Closing binder with Site Financial Controller and establish/review action plan inside SSC (with AP/AR, Tax)

• Primary documents requirements check (MAES…) & verify consistency between legal entities inside his/her perimeter

• Observance / check of observance of the internal audit LSF rules

• Execute subsequent operations in accounting system (items clearing on G/L accounts...)

• Communication with partners (external and internal)

• Responsible for Intercos/Intracos reconciliation process

• Review with SAS assets activation ( MAF lifetime, follow up of assets in progress activation)

• Coordinate Yearly insurance policy declaration

• Responsible for KPI related to G/L matter (follow up and daily/weekly/monthly review)

• Improve constantly the performance of the G/L team through the implementation of lean processes and efficient IS tools with the support of SSC Finance Process Manager (EDI, customer invoice automation, updated procedures...)

• Contribute to G/L project

• Records archive

• Contribute to Group Ethics & Compliance program by applying and respecting code of Ethics and Valeo’s policies.
  

People management:

• Manage the GL accountants and ensure efficiency of the team

• Supports in the training and career development of finance people. Creates a proactive team within his/her perimeter and help identifying high potentials
