To deliver an integrated, IT-enabled operational support service across Merseyside, maintaining a visible presence in support of road traffic enforcement. The role is essential in advancing the Force’s Safer Roads agenda through the capture, validation and processing of offences detected by static and mobile speed enforcement equipment.
The post holder will be granted delegated authority by the Chief Constable under the Police Reform Act 2002 (as amended), affording the powers and duties of a constable when deployed in the enforcement of speed limit offences.
This role is central to supporting the Merseyside Safer Roads Partnership and wider Force objectives to reduce casualties, improve road safety awareness and bring offenders to justice.
